Meliora is offering two courses for the 2021-2022 academic year, for students aged 12-18. With sufficient demand, we will divide the courses into two sections, with 12-14-year-olds in one section and 14-18-year-olds in the other.
The Modern World History course will be In What Ways Do Spies & Whistleblowers Reflect Debate & Diplomacy?, exploring how these seemingly opposing forces are intertwined. Each semester, we will develop, either individually or in a small team, a project which investigates a topic of interest.
The Literature/Storytelling course will be Sheriff or Outlaw, Pardner? We will explore the Western genre, reading novels, watching movies, listening to songs and poetry, and we will create our own Western short stories.
